Instructions
Basic polishing techniques
- Wash the vehicle with soap dirt for cars and a sponge. Be sure to clean everything you can, as this will have a direct impact on how well you can repair the faded paint.
- Dry your vehicle using suede. Do this to the shadow to prevent smudging water sun drying the water too quickly.
- Selects either a wax, a rubbing compound or a rubbing compound. A wax is designed to clean minor details, while a polishing compound removes the first layer of paint, allowing the next layer spotless shine. A rubbing compound does the same job as the polishing compound, only it is more abrasive and should only be used as a last resort because it can spoil all the layers of paint.
- Apply wax or compound to the vehicle using a cloth towel or applicator that comes with the wax. Use movements forward and backward. Do this in sections, working in a particular area of the vehicle at a time. After polishing that area of the vehicle, remove the wax before starting another.
- Rinse the vehicle with hot water to remove any excess wax.
- Dry your vehicle with suede. Again, do this in the shade to prevent stains from water.
- Apply carnauba wax and púlela with a soft cloth. If your car does not shine like new, you may need to repaint.
