The habits of a good auto mechanic demonstrate self-confidence and make your employer and company look good. Education and Skill
All mechanics should strive to achieve professional status by taking important training courses offered by the Automotive Excellence Service and obtaining the certificate. Almost all repair facilities need an ASE certificate, and serves as a point of reference for a reliable and high quality auto repair in the country. Seven tests cover most repair areas: engine operation, engine repair, brakes, electrical systems, heating and air conditioning, suspension and steering, and automatic transmissions.
Most repair shops, such as the concession of foreign cars, have specialized programs on their models, which are implemented and required by the manufacturer. These training programs provide certifications for some specific areas (sometimes called “verifications”).
